Users that use Acterys via Microsoft Power BI do not require any special configuration as Acterys trusts servers in the Power BI cloud infrastructure. Azure SQL Database Access
To access the Acterys Azure SQL database, the IP address of the client machine has to be added to the firewall and whitelisted. This can be done through the Acterys Modeller web interface in the "Safe IP" menu > "Add IP". Just click on the "Add" button.

Note: There is no native Mac OS X version for Microsoft Power BI Desktop for now. It is only available for Microsoft Windows. On request, we can provide a Power Desktop application usable from any web browser through terminal services. You can edit and create Power BI template reports without Power BI Desktop on a Mac OS browser. Some functionality like editing DAX measures is not supported in the browser. |
